We just tend to play to our strengths and are therefore weaker.” (xxxii) This paragraph is something that struck me personally because after coming to Emory, it occurred to me how unilaterally and single-mindedly focused I had become on writing and how a lack of experience in anything else beyond perfecting my craft has limited my abilities and my view of the world.
